Vital Acre Urban Farm began as a little “COVID garden” in the spring of 2020 and quickly blossomed into something much more. What started as a humble 10' x 20' patch of garden, quickly grew into a thriving half-acre urban farm—and the heart of our farm-to-skin skincare line.

We’re a small, regenerative farmstead built on the belief that healthy soil grows healthy plants—and those plants nourish healthy people. From the beginning, we’ve farmed using organic, regenerative methods that honor the living systems beneath our feet. Composting, no-till gardening, and respect for soil biology form the foundation of everything we grow and create.

Over the years, our farm has evolved from producing vegetables for local markets to cultivating the botanicals that power our skincare. Calendula, lemon balm, turmeric, and other skin-loving herbs are carefully grown, harvested, and infused into oils that bring the vibrancy of the garden directly to your skin.

We believe that real beauty doesn’t come from a lab—it comes from the land. Every infusion, oil, and bar of soap we make starts with soil that’s been nurtured with compost, sunshine, and care. No herbicides, no synthetic fertilizers—just the natural rhythms of nature doing what she does best.

  • Regenerative, not extractive: We use no-till methods and build soil fertility through homemade compost, organic chicken manure, and natural mineral amendments.
  • Bee-friendly and bird-safe: We never use herbicides and only turn to organic pest control when absolutely necessary—and always after the bees have gone to bed.
  • Closed-loop mindset: We aim to recycle nutrients, minimize waste, and create a balanced ecosystem where soil organisms thrive year after year.
