Shipping Policy

At Vital Acre Urban Farm, we take great care to ensure your products arrive fresh and in the best possible condition. Because our skincare is made with natural ingredients and without synthetic stabilizers, we’re mindful of how temperature extremes can affect them during transit.

Shipping Schedule

We ship orders Monday through Thursday only.
This schedule helps minimize the time your package spends in transit or sitting in a warehouse over the weekend, where it could be exposed to heat or cold.

Processing Time

Orders are typically processed and shipped within 1–2 business days after being placed. You’ll receive an email notification with tracking information once your order is on its way.

Transit Times

• Local deliveries (within 100 miles of Jacksonville, FL) usually arrive the day after they’re shipped.
• For shipments that require more than 2 transit days, we may hold your order and ship it the following Monday to ensure it travels safely and doesn’t spend extra time in a warehouse over the weekend.

Shipping Rates & Carriers

We currently ship through UPS Ground for reliable, trackable delivery.

• Free UPS Ground Shipping is offered on all orders over $75 (after discounts and before taxes).
• Orders under $75 will be charged a shipping fee, calculated at checkout based on your location and chosen carrier.

If you need your order sooner, please reach out before placing your order — we’ll do our best to accommodate special requests.

Seasonal Shipping Notes

Because our products are made with real oils, butters, and botanicals — not synthetic stabilizers — they can be sensitive to temperature changes:

• During warmer months, your products may soften slightly in transit. If this happens, simply place them in a cool area (or the fridge for a few minutes) to restore their texture.
• During colder months, natural oils may firm up — this is totally normal. Just warm the product in your hands before use.
  If extreme temperatures are forecasted, we may delay shipping by a day or two to ensure your order arrives safely and in top condition.
